Where are you based?
I am based in Brighton, East Sussex. I don’t mind travelling at all, and last year I travelled to Glasgow to photograph this gorgeous wedding.

What is your style of photography?
I like to combine documentary storytelling with hints of fine art photography. I don’t like contrived, forced images, instead I like to capture moments as they occur. I also love natural and creative portraits and like to mix this up a little with the more candid style of shooting.

Do you take formal portraits?
Yes! I’d generally recommend to keep your formal list to about 6-8 groupings. This will allow you to spend more time with your guests. But of course if there are additional images you would like, I’d be happy to oblige! Typically 3 weeks ahead of the wedding day I will email to ask for a list of the formal photos you would like. I will then have this list with me on the day to help streamline the process!

How many photos do you deliver?
For a full day wedding photography coverage, I deliver around 400+ photos.

Do you edit all images?
Yes, every image will be edited by me with care and love!

When can we see our images?
Within 4 weeks after your wedding.

Can we print the images ourselves?
Absolutely, I place no restrictions on this. You can print and share your images any way you wish.

Do you offer albums?
Yes! I offer bespoke fine art albums, for more details see here.

What kind of equipment do you use?
I shoot with Nikon D700 and have a bunch of different lenses I use throughout the day. I also have a Nikon sb-900 speedlight for low light situations.

Do you bring back up equipment?
Yes, I have two camera bodies and a number of lenses for back-up.

How can we book you?
Send me an email mail@robertamatis.com and we’ll take it from there. To secure your date, I will need a booking deposit and a signed contract.
